The arrest warrant and criminal allegations

An international arrest warrant dated 26 May 2022, made available to the author, concerns suspected serious fraud and money laundering. The court cites risk of flight as the ground for arrest.
The allegations concern the financing of a property purchase by the H. Foundation and the subsequent handling of the sale proceeds. The warrant alleges that Nogueyra misrepresented his intention to repay and his financial circumstances when the financing was arranged.
An arrest warrant is not a criminal judgment. The current status and precise scope of the allegations have not been independently confirmed for this account.
Nogueyra’s response
In a written response dated September 2019, included in the documents made available to the author, Nogueyra denied receiving a loan or owing the foundation money. He described the property transfer as a favour between friends. That statement records his position in 2019; it does not establish his full current defence.

The extradition proceedings

An official case-law report from Argentina’s Ministerio Público Fiscal lists a decision by the Corte Suprema de Justicia de la Nación dated 7 October 2025 in “Nogueyra, Juan Pablo s/ extradición”, concerning Liechtenstein.
The relevant passage addresses responsibility for assessing reciprocity in extradition proceedings. The full decision has not been obtained for this account. Whether a transfer to Liechtenstein has taken place has not been independently confirmed.
